Notice for Students Wishing to Study Abroad

In the Higher Education General Meeting dated 24.12.2015, it has been decided that those who completed their education and wish to receive education in foreign higher education institutions except top 500 universities according to the world university rankings by CWTS Leiden Ranking Academic Ranking, Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai) and University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) have to,

attend YGS and LYS conducted by OSYM ;

be among the first 40 thousand for medical degree, 150 thousand for law, 200 thousand for architecture and 240 thousand for engineering;

get the same grade with the student who enrolled in the related program with the lowest grade for the other fields in OSYS Guide;

have minimum 150 points for associate programs and 180 points for bachelor programs excluded in OSYS Guide;

have minimum 150 points in 2016-YGS to apply for special talent exams;

If those wishing to apply for recognized higher education institutions excluded top 500 do not have YGS and LYS scores, they should hold the following equivalent documents;

SAT 1 : Minimum 1000 points

ACT : Minimum 21 points

Abitur : Minimum 4 points

French Baccalaureate : Diploma grade minimum 12

GCE A Level Certificate : Minimum 2 courses

International Baccalaureat IB: Minimum 28

Matura Reifezeugnis: Maximum 2

Diploma di Maturita: Minimum 70

and abovementioned issues will be valid for each academic year till a new regulation.
