Mevlana Exchange Program started by Turkish Higher Education Council aims to develop the exchange of students and academic staff of Turkish and international higher education institutions. Students may study abroad for one (minimum) or two (maximum) terms. Accordingly, students from any country may benefit from this programme being hosted by Turkish Higher Education institutions in order to study. The funding of the student mobility within the scope of Mevlana Exchange Program is met by Turkish Higher Education Council and the students do not pay for tuition. The process and the courses students take at the the university they go for study are provided to recognize in the university they are enrolled in. The mobility is only possible with the departments of the universities in the protocols signed between the universities.
