Bilateral Cooperation Agreement with Cairo University, Egypt

Our President Prof. Reha Metin ALKAN and advisor Assoc. Dr. M. Ömer BOSTANCI attended The 14th IAIN Congress 2012 in Egypt between 1-3 October 2012. During their stay in Egypt, they visited Prof. Dr. Hossam KAMEL, the President of Cairo University, to negotiate about the possible cooperation agreements.  This visit brought to a successful conclusion and a bilateral cooperation agreement with Cairo University was signed in Cairo on 03 October, 2012.

Cairo University was founded on December 21, 1908, as the result of an effort to establish a national center for educational thought. With its 12,158 academic staff, 280, 000 srudents, 20 faculties and 7 research institutes, Cairo University holds its position between 401 - 500 in the global ratings of Shanghai Ranking.
Along with academic cooperation and joint projects, this agreement includes student and  academic staff mobility.
