President Prof. Dr. ALKAN visited Boğazkale and Hattusa. The Head of the Department of Archeology Prof.Dr. Yaşar Erkan ERSOY, the Director of the Institute of Social Sciences Prof.Dr. Gülen Elmas ARSLAN, the Director of the Hittite Civilization Application and Research Center Prof. Dr. Ahmet ÜNAL and General Secretariat Erdal KANIK accompanied President Prof. Dr. ALKAN during his visit. In the beginning, he visited the District Governor of Boğazkale Zeliha UYAN to congratulate her on her appointment. Afterwards, in company with the Boğazkale Mayor Ali Rıza SOYSAT, the group visited the historical Dulkadiroğulları Mansion to examine on site. They exchanged ideas about the studies to be done on Archeology and Hittitology.
