Hitit University 2011-2012 academic year graduation ceremony took place on May 29th at Dr. Turhan Kılıçcıoğlu Stadium in front of an enthusiastic audience including the local authorities, administratives, academic staff, families, press and general public.
Graduation Ceremony started with traditional alumni walk. The speeches were followed by the performance of the folk dances and the award ceremony. The first ranking student in Hitit University Faculty of Science and Letters Biology Department, Asiye Aslı EMNİYET gave a speech in which she expressed her gratitude and future plans. President Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan got on the platform and made a speech about the recent improvements and future plans of the university.
The first ranking students in all academic programs received their diplomas from President Prof. Dr.Reha Metin Alkan and other guests. The rest of the Hitit graduates received their diplomas from respective faculty members on the platform reserved for their departments within the stadium. The graduation ceremony ended with celebrations where the new graduates shared their pride and joy with their families, friends, and faculty members.
