Cooperation with the University of Florence

 Hitit University has just signed a bilateral cooperation agreement with the University of Florence,  Italy. Being one of the most prestigious universities around the World, The University of Florence comprises 12 schools and has about 60,000 students enrolled. Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlknur TAŞ from Hitit University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Julia Torri from the University of Florence are the coordinators of this agreement. Aiming to improve the cultural and academic activities of the both universities, this agreement was signed between the departments of Hittitology. Archeology and History. Following activities will be held within the scope of this cooperation. 
 
-  Student, researcher and academic staff exchange in the fields of Hittitology. Archeology and Ancient History,      
-  Joint scientific projects, researches,   museum projects and archeological excavations,     
-  Mutual courses and seminars in the fields of Hittitology. Archeology and Ancient History  under the supervision of the coordinators,
-  Student exchange programs for post-doc studies,
-  Educational activities, Professional trips and activities within the scope of student exchange programs.        
                
        This agreement, signed by Hitit University President Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan and University of Florence President Prof. Dr. Alberto Tesi, will enable our university to increase its recognition in the fields of Hittitology. Archeology and Ancient History.
