Our proposal for opening the “Department of Laboratory and Veterinary Health” within the body of Alaca Vocational School was approved according to the article 7/d-2 changing the article 2547 with article 2880 in Higher Education Executive Board meeting in 01.10.2014.
The number of departments in Alaca Vocational School increased to 12 while it was only 3 when it was founded.
The aims of Laboratory and Veterinary Health Department
The department aims to ensure occupational safety and health, maintain laboratory devices regularly, detect the deficiencies in the laboratory, draw biological materials (blood,urine, culture, etc.) from the patient, protect patient samples, preparing the materials for analysis and analyze them, control the results, follow occupational developments, be conscious of the patients’ psychology and the rights of people and animals, use the technical equipment under all circumstances, carry out productive studies in breeding, render patient care, first aid in accordance with doctors and veterinary surgeon.
