Our university, which places great importance to internationalisation, has just made one more new educational cooperation with the Institute of Economics, Management and Law, located in Kazan, Tatarstan Republic which is affiliated with Rusian Federation.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Reha Metin ALKAN, was invited to attend the activities regarding the 20th anniversary of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law and he carried out negotiations in an attempt to initiate collaboration with the institution. As a result of these negotiations, Mevlana Exchange Program protocol and educational cooperation protocol were signed.
With these latest agreements, the number of Mevlana Exchange Program protocols has reached up to 42 and the number of educational cooperation protocols has reached up to 48.
The number of agreements of our university which has signed Erasmus, Mevlana and educational cooperation protocols concerning the exchange of students, academic and administrative staff with 96 universities, 36 different countries and 4 continents has risen to 116 while it was 8 in 2010.
