Our Academic Staff is granted with the Best Research Award in National Dermatology Congress

Assist. Prof. Dr. Engin Şenel from the Department of Dermatological and Venereal Diseases, Faculty of Medicine of Hitit University was granted with the Best Research Award for his research, “Telemedicine and Teledermatology Publishing Productivity of World Countries: A Bibliometric Study covering the dates between 1980-2013” in the 25^th National Dermatology Congress which was held by Turkish Dermatology Association in Antalya between the dates of 21-25 October 2014. Assist. Prof. Dr. Şenel, also had won scholarship award to attend to the congress with his study, “Telemicroscopy: A new technique for teledermatological evaluation of skin tumors.

Our academic member in the Department of Dermatological and Venereal Diseases Faculty of Medicine, Assist. Prof. Dr. Engin Şenel’s telemicroscopy research which is about a technique first used in the world for distance evaluation and detection skin tumors was published in Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare. His other work was accepted to be published in Dermatologica Sinica Journal. Lecturer Emre Demir from the Department of Technical Programs of Osmancık Ömer Derindere Vocational School, Hitit University took place as researcher in both of the studies.
