Our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan met with research assistants, specialists and lecturers of our university in Rectorate Conference Hall to share general information about prospective studies carried out within our university and find solutions to the problems of the teaching staff.
Stating that our university has been developing not only quantitatively but also qualitatively, Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan said that a great deal of importance to opening departments and programs providing employment guarantee and the number of our students reached 16 thousand and the ranking of our university has risen in various areas. Prof. Dr. Alkan emphasized the importance of the publication number of teaching staff, the rise in the impact factors of our journals and analyzing the academic activities of our units with graphics and the rise in master and doctorate articles and national/international projects with the establishment of Technocity.
Furthermore, our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan who would like the academicians to benefit from international opportunities emphasized the importance of the projects to be carried out within the framework of the event ‘A Project for Çorum’ referring to the importance of university-industry cooperation.
