According to 2015-ÖSYS results, 1,796 students in total preferred our 27 bachelor programs -20 of which are daytime education and 7 of which are evening education- available in 5 faculties and 2 schools so reaching 99,50% occupancy ratio.
Having achieved important development and growth qualitatively and quantitatively in almost every field especially academic staff in recent years, our University has continued to open departments and programs needed by our country and demanded intensely by our university with a developmental pattern based on sustainability. These departments which were opened with an employment-oriented comprehension have attracted considerable attention and reached 100% occupancy ratio. Accepting students for the first time, the 41-student quota of the departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics and Anthropology in the Faculty of Arts and Science and 60-student quota of the department of Sports Management (Evening Education) have been preferred and 100% occupancy ratio has been reached. Thus, all the student quota of the Faculty of Medicine and all 4-year bachelor programs for 1,805 except 9 have been preferred (with 99.50% preference ratio).
The increase in the ratio of preferability and occupancy is the same for the associate degree programs. 1,866 of the quota of the 50 departments (including evening education) in the Vocational Schools located in Çorum city centre and in the districts of İskilip, Osmancık, Sungurlu and Alaca for 1,882 students has been preferred reaching 99.15% occupancy ratio.
The departments which were opened under the body of our vocational schools with an employment-oriented comprehension and will accept students for the first time have been preferred with 100% ratio. For instance, the 31-student quotas for each of the programs of Architecture and Restoration (Evening Education), Graphic Design (Daytime Education), Graphic Design (Evening Education), Interior Design (Daytime Education) and Interior Design (Evening Education) in İskilip Vocational School and 41-student quota of Civil Defense and Firefighting Program in Alaca Vocational School have reached 100% occupancy ratio.
According to 2015-ÖSYS results, our university has attained a favorable place among the state universities in Turkey with 99.15% occupancy ratio in associate degree programs and 99.50% occupancy ratio in bachelor programs. In terms of the results, our university is ranked as the 44th among 109 state universities in bachelor placements; as 30th among 99 state universities providing associate degree programs. When compared with the universities founded in the same year (2006) as Hitit University, our university is ranked as 3rd in associate degree placements, 6th in bachelor placements among 15 universities in terms of occupancy ratio.
It is estimated that the number of students of our university will exceed 16,000 with 3,662 students preferring our university this year together with international student admissions, the students of postgraduate (master and doctorate) education, the students coming with 2015-ÖSYS additional placements and external transfer exam.
