“ARDEB and BİDEB Programs Information Meeting” was held in our University Rectorate Conference Hall.
With the intense participation, Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nurcan Baykam made the opening speech of “ARDEB and BİDEB Programs Information Meeting”. She started her speech with these words: “Research Support Programs Department (ARDEB) and Scientist Support Department (BİDEB) within TÜBİTAK aim at increasing the capacity of research and development in our country and helping developing scientists’ competence and they provide non-repayable aid in the projects of the researchers who work in private and public sector and the academicians working in the university, research hospitals and research institutes with different support programs.
The potential of scientists is increasing with the scientific/technological infrastructure opportunities in our country. Within our university since 2006, there have been finished and ongoing 16 TÜBİTAK asissted projects. 11 applications of these projects have been made from Engineering Faculty and 5 applications of them have been made from Arts and Science Faculty.”
ARDEB Health Sciences Group Secretarty Prof. Dr. Sevim Aydın gave information about National Academic Research and Development Projects supports and support programs of ARDEB and said “TÜBİTAK is an institution which supports many projects on condition that applications are convenient. You get an idea and that is enough. As Louis Pasteur says, Prepared opinions strike lucky.”
BİDEB department head Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çufalı gave information about BİDEB’s goals, tools, programs, support amounts they give, scholarship opportunities, electronic application system and evaluation of the applications.
