Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan visited the Chamber of Civil Engineers New Executive Board to congratulate.
Expressing his appreciation for the visit, Chairman of the Chamber of Civil Engineers Özgür Kılıç emphasized that our university serves as a model in all aspects in the city. Özgür Kılıç stated that constructions which were built and are being built are enormously modern and durable. In this regard, he thanked Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan for his success and self-devotion.
Providing information on the development and studies of our university, Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan stated that the number of our students has risen to 18 thousand and the number of our academic and administrative staff exceeded 1000 so growing into a large Hitit Family; as a result of the quality education provided, our success rate in national and international rankings are increasing. Prof. Dr. Alkan stated that not only the necessities for usage were taken into account but also earthquake issue was taken into account in construction projects of our university. Besides, Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan said that ultimate quality materials were used in our campus constructions. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Alkan stated that Authorization Preliminary Contract was signed between Professional Competency Board (MYK) and Hitit University Scientific and Technical Application and Research Center (HÜBTUAM).
Furthermore, information was shared about the panel on “Concrete Roads Applications” to be organized with the cooperation of our University and Çorum Chamber of Civil Engineers on 2 November 2016.
