Within the context of the project named “I Love Turkey Because…” carried out by Skarya University Communication Faculty, Prof. Dr. Aytekin İşman who is the dean of the Communication Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Eskicumalı who is the vice-dean of the faculty and project team came to our university in order to shoot and hereby they visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan.
Prof. Dr. Aytekin İşman who is the dean of the Communication Faculty says “The project is initiated in order to contribute to the international sense of our country. Our aim is to contribute to the introduction of Turkey via videos, webpages and social media. We believe that international students studying in our country act as a bridge in this sense. Within this context, we visit the universities and meet international students. Hitit university is a university that attracts attention through its international works. I would like to thank our rector for his support to our project.”.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan expresses his ideas with the following words “We are working on various studies with respect to increasing the recognition of both our university and our country. We are always ready to give any support to any project that we believe it will contribute to our country. International students coming from all over the world to study in our university have got the chance of knowing our province and country better and meeting new cultures. As of now, there are almost 150 international students in our university which pays attention to the internationalization of the education. I thank you and your team for setting such a project in train and for your kind visit.”
