An excursion program was organized by our university in order to visit Grand National Assembly of Turkey(TBMM), AK Party Library and Çorum Deputies.
In the first part of the excursion, a group of our students visited “15th of July Memorial of Martyrs” exhibit located in AK Party Library.
Then, the group visited the sections in Grand National Assembly of Turkey bombed during the coup attempt accompanied by Çorum Deputies Lütfiye İlksen Ceritoğlu and Ahmet Sami Ceylan and the size of the disturbances that our country had overtaken was observed on the spot. On the other hand, consultants of Çorum Deputy Salim Uslu gave information about TBMM to our university representatives.
The section “15th of July Memorial of Martyrs” was formed by R&D Directorate and opened by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, martyrs’ families and veterans for exhibition in order to document the most brutal coup attempt of our country's history by Fetullahçı Terror Organization (FETÖ) against our national will on the 15th of July and how our nation protected national will and democracy in this coup attempt.
"15th of July Memorial of Martyrs" exhibition area made to commemorate the martyrs of July 15th is a first in Turkey and in this context, it is aimed to better explain the 15 July treacherous coup attempt to younger generations. In this section, paraphernalia of the martyrs, photos, videos, life stories of the martyrs are exhibited. These works show that the treacherous plan will not be erased from memory and we should pay more attention to the importance of nationality. Also, newspapers, magazines, books that deal with this treacherous attack are exhibited.
