Collaboration protocol regarding that students from our university İskilip Vocational School Jewelry and Jewelry Design Department can receive hands-on training in Ahlatçı Gold Corporation has been signed.
In accordance with the protocol signed between our unşversity and Ahlatçı Gold Corporation, 24 students from Jewelry and Jewelry Design Department will be able to take a significant part of their practical training in the manufacturing section of Ahlatçı Gold Corporation.
Stating that the protocol signed with Ahlatçı Gold Corporation is one of the most concrete steps of university-industry cooperation, Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan says that there are almost 200 departments in our university and the general strategy of new departments opened are employment-focused and especially the ones which our city needs.
Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan thanked businessman Ahmet Ahlatçı, the director of İskilip Vocational School Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muammer Cengil and the academic staff of Jewelry and Jewelry Design Department and he emphasized that the doors of our university are open to everybody who may make collaboration.
Ahmet Ahlatçı says “Jewelry is an art that combines the art of value. The students of Jewelry and Jewelry Design Department can receive hands-on training in existing business firms during whole semester and gold refinery which will be 4th biggest refinery of Turkey and 62th biggest refinery of the world and come into service very soon.
