Aiming to serve humanity by conducting studies, our university makes important progress in health field with the successful treatment methods carried out by our Medical Faculty.
One of the successful operations of our Medical Faculty was the patient who applied to General Surgery Polyclinic of our Hospital and 23x20 cm cystic mass was detected in the upper part of liver. The patient, Selami Kocabaş recovered after the successful operation performed by Prof. Dr. Settar Bostanoğlu, Head of General Surgery Department of Medical Faculty in our University, Surgeon Bülent Öztürk and a team.
Prof. Dr. Settar Bostanoğlu gave explanations about the event and stated that it was a rare situation in terms of the size of the mass and the generating organ and there are too few cases when world literature scanned.
Get Well Visit from our Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan visited Selami Kocabaş recovered after the successful operation in our hospital and wished him a speedy recovery.
Stating that our Medical Faculty is developing qualitatively and quantitatively day by day, Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan emphasized that there have been important developments in health field after the affiliation between our university and Ministry of Health.
