Our university being aware of the fact that universities should synergize with the society and be leading institutions in terms of change and transformation continues to carry out events contributing to Çorum and region in scientific, social, cultural and economic aspects. One of the programs conducted within this framework is HİTÜ Children’s University.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan visited HİTÜ Children’s University 2016 Summer Term Activities started with 40 students who have finished 5th, 6th and 7th grades with Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nurcan Baykam. Meeting with the youngest students of our university, Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan participate to the students’ events with our Instructors.
Stating that HİTÜ Children’s University provides the students with applied scientific studies, conscious choice of profession, learn entertainingly and gets the university closer with the society, our Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan said, “The essential aim of conducting HİTÜ Children’s University program within our university is to make our children who are the future of our country to carry out scientific activities, develop research culture, realizing their own skills and introduce with university atmosphere.”
Rector Prof. Dr. Alkan wished all the students a fruitful and joyous HİTÜ Children’s University program and had taken photo with them giving the students books as gifts.
