6 academicians from our university were able to take place in academic performance ranking named “Transparent Ranking: Top Universities by Google Scholar Citations” based on the informations in Google Scholar Citations databases of researchers working in Turkish Higher Education Institutions in Turkey, Europe and Asia by Webometrics every year.
Our academicians named below take place in the list which is announced in July 2016 over 4342 researchers in total whose H-İndex are over 10 are ranked:

As the ranking is made among researchers who have the profile of Google Akademic (Scholar), it is important for our academicians to create academic profile and keep it up to date. Besides, our university is ranked as 2420 in world universities and 91 in Turkish universities with 4844 references in the ranking which 4129 universities in the world and 154 universities in Turkey take place and is made acoording to the references which academicians make in Higher Education Institutions.
With the quality of work of the researchers, this ranking aiming at increasing the number of publications related to these works and encouraging to do share with other researchers on the internet is important in order to see the relation between the academic performance of especially developing countries and the trends in the world today.
