Entrepreneurship Course Begins in Faculty of Engineering

Non-Technical Elective course "Entrepreneurship" is added to the curriculum of our Engineering Faculty. 

Entrepreneurship which will be carried out as two hours per week will contribute a lot in terms of development of our entrepreneurial culture and leading university-trained young people to the entrepreneurship.

Stating that the mission of the university changes in today's world and the universitites have to take beyond the role of education and training institutions, transfer the knowledge to the communities and provide economic contribution to society by getting high value-added products, our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan talks about 3. Generation University, namely “entrepreneurial university model”. With this approach and "Entrepreneurship" course which will start this term in Engineering Faculty, a course content with regard to producing own projects of our students and facilitating the realization of these projects and gaining innovative thinking is presented to the students.  

The students who will choose the course will get information about Concept of Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Testing of the Properties, Business Intellectual Development of Creativity and Innovation Approach, Responsible Entrepreneurship Concept, Business Functions (Production, Management, Accounting, Finance and Marketing) and Business Plan.
