One of the most important problems in the industrial and service sectors of developed and developing countries is the lack of qualified intermediate staff. The productivity and quality in industry and service sector is increasing with the employment of qualified intermediary.
Our university working within this context attaches great importance to the vocational schools which have an important function at the point of raising qualified intermediate staff, which is one of the most important needs of our country and even developed countries, it is committed to open a department / program that is compatible with the conditions of the region and is employment-oriented and at the same time satisfies the needs.
Our university trying to contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of the cities and regions where universities are located has undoubtedly made significant progress as a result of the studies initiated in the vocational colleges not only in Çorum but also in our districts. Within this framework, our university’s request to establish Kargı Vocational School in Kargı district was approved at the meeting of Higher Education General Assembly dated 19.01.2017.
The number of the vocational schools of our university has reached 8 with new founded Kargı Vocational School. Hitit University has also 8 faculties, 3 Schools, 13 Research and application centers and it is proceeding with sure steps in the direction of the targets.
It is aimed that Kargı Vocational School will start education in a short period of time after completing the necessary infrastructure studies.
