AKP Çorum Deputy and TBMM Administrative Chief Salim Uslu and Akp Deputy and Member of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs Commission Ahmet Sami Ceylan, AKP Provincial Chief Lawyer Mehmet Karadağ, TOKİ Finance Directorate Chief Ayhan Karaca and our Rector Prof.Dr. Reha Metin Alkan examined the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Sports Complex where European Universities Futsal Championship (Futsal’2017) will be held between the dates of 9-15 July 2017 and The School of Physical Education and Sports will also take place.
Rector Prof.Dr. Reha Metin Alkan says “Hitit University has come a long way in the field of academic and education. We were able to eliminate the substantial lack of the physical need of the university and we also developed many projects in sports. Sports Hall is one of the most important building of these. Construction work is ongoing and approaching the end. The hall will be an important venue not only for sporting activities and education but also for bringing international events to our province. the hall will be named as 15 July Democracy and National Unity Sports Complex. The School of Physical Education and Sports which has increased the number of students with the newly opened departments in recent years and successfully carried out many national / international sporting events will also take place here. With going into action of this facility having the international standards, we will serve our academic and administrative staff, our students and our province in a wide range of sports fields. The Sports Hall which is under construction is also suitable for all kinds of halls that can be held at Olympic level and has approximately 9,000 m² of indoor area, 1600 m² of main saloon, 476 m² of 2 educational halls for use and rooms for academic and administrative personnel. In addition to these, there will be main tribunes as well as the portable tribunes. I would like to thank our Governor, Our Deputies, Mayor and Provincial Chief for their support to our university.”
Çorum Deputy and TBMM Administrative Chief Salim Uslu says “We continue to carry out every effort for the development and growth of our university in consultation and coordination with our Rector. As it is until this time, we are ready to give all kinds of support within the possibilities after that. We did not have a campus for some time. With the completion of the Natural Gas facility that we provide to our districts and the High Speed Train that will also carry on with the cargo transportation project, our province and university will continue to develop even further.”
Akp Deputy and Member of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs Commission Ahmet Sami Ceylan says “The works of our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan are really important for our region and province.
