Our university Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nurcan Baykam, Faculty of Medicine Dean Dr. Mete Dolapçı, Scientific Technical Application and Research Center (HÜBTUAM) Assistant Manager Assist. Assoc. Dr. Ibrahim Bilici and Expert Mehmet Sener participated in "Samsun Health Industry Summit" organized by OKA within the scope of European Union Project for the localization and nationalization of medical device production in Turkey.
Within the scope of the meeting, the stand was opened by HÜBTUAM with information about the tests made at the center and our stand was welcomed by the manufacturers of medical devices.
At the same time, our university delegation met with medical company managers to exchange information about joint project work, test solutions and R&D activities.
The program continued with visits to industrial companies producing surgical instruments and orthopedic products connected to Samsun Medical Cluster Association. Within the framework of these visits, AYSAM Orthopedics & Medical Instruments, BAHADIR Medical Instruments Inc. and AYGÜN Surgical Instruments production fields were examined. The company officials expressed their satisfaction that the University is carrying out very important activities for the region and our country. We were invited to the Central Anatolian Medical Manufacturers Test Meeting, which will be held in Ankara, as a concrete demonstration of the goal of spreading the field of regional activity across the country at a meeting where there is participation from different illusions of Turkey.
As it is known, Hitit University Scientific Technical Application and Research Center (HÜBTUAM) is the first and only laboratory authorized by the Ministry of Health, Turkey Drug and Medical Device Authority, Dental Medicine-Implants-Bone Dental Implants Dynamic Loading Experiment.
