Our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin ALKAN paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Cem ZORLU, who was newly appointed as Head of Maarif Foundation, and received information about the goals and activities of the Foundation.
Our Prof. Dr. Alkan touched upon the statements about Fetö Schools by the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayip Erdoğan which were “Go to 193 Countries, Turn you face to the places where Fetö is active and do not allow the organization schools to call Turkish schools”. Alkan continued to say that these instructions pointed out how important the mission of foundation was.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. ZORLU added that they would be happy to take part in joint projects and activities with the university.
