The meeting - regarding 11th European Universities Futsal Championship (Futsal’2017) which will be held between the dates of 09-16 July 2017 hosted by our university and in collaboration with Ministry of Youth and Sports, Çorum Governorship, Çorum Municipality, Turkish University Sports Federation and Çorum Chamber of Commerce and Industry – was held.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan, our university general secretary Erdal Kanık, School of Physical Education and Sports Manager Prof. Dr. Faruk Yamaner and his team and the staff from Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, Futsal'2017 was assessed by the current situation and technical details were discussed. It was highlighted that the works on this organization to be successful were going on.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan said that a lot of athletes from many countries all over the world will participate in this international event which is very important for our province and university. I believe that we will complete this organization successfully like 12th World University Wrestling Championship held by our university in Çorum. I thank Our Governor, Deputies, Mayor and Chief Executive Officer of ÇTSO and everybody contributing to this event from the heart.
