Our University Badminton Team going to Antalya Belek for the Universiade Badminton 1st League Competitions which will be held between 25 - 29 March 2017, has completed the preliminary elimination competitions unbeaten.
Our University Badminton Team defeated Abant İzzet Baysal University and Yüzüncü Yıl University with a score of 5-0 in the matches played on the first day, Pamukkale University on the 2nd day and Gaziantep University on the 3rd day were defeated with 5-0 scores.
170 athletes participated in Badminton competitions attended by a total of 20 universities from Turkey. As a team coach from our university, Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Sports, Assist. Assoc. Dr. Yetkin Utku Kamuk and 5 male, 4 female athletes participated.
The HİTÜ Badminton Team, which successfully passed the preliminary eliminations, will compete in the Super League promotion competitions on 28-29 March 2017.
We hope that our Badminton Team will be successful in the Super League promotion matches.
