Our proposal that we have made to the Higher Education Council for the recruitment of students to Social Security Program within the scope of Social Sciences Vocational School of our University has been accepted at the Meeting of Higher Education General Meeting dated 12/04/2018. Our Social Security program will start its educational activities with 60 students starting from 2018-2019 education year.
Why is Social Security important?
Along with the globalization process, social security has become one of the most important problem areas of modern economies. Developments in the world and the economy in our country and social security crises brought reforms in social security systems. In our country, especially the reforms made in the year 2000, the social security institutions were united and gathered under a single roof. This process, which started in the social security system, has significantly increased the need for professionals with knowledge and skills in the field of social security.
When it comes to the Private Sector, the most important task of human resources practices is to plan personnel rights and proper recruitment, recruitment and divorce procedures. In this context, inadequately trained personnel in social security practices make mistakes, causing huge financial problems in enterprises. Therefore, in the private sector as well as in the public sector, there is a need for professionals with knowledge and skills in the field of social security. This will ensure that the Social Security program is preferred by students.
Our associate degree program at the Vocational School of Social Sciences in the Department of Property Protection and Security will contribute to the increase of the quality of education in the program and thus to the formation of a student demand for our program as the college campuses are located in the city center.
In Social Sciences Vocational High School, our Social Security Program, which will take students for the first time in 2018, has risen to 13 with its active program.
