The project ”Determination and Documentation of Çorum Industrial Heritage" prepared by Dr. Lecturer Önder İpek who is the Director of Hittite Civilization Application and Research Center and Dr. Lecturer Emine Sökmen who is the academician in the department of Archeology has been qualified to be supported within the scope of the 2019 Technical Support Program of the Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA).
Information to be obtained as a result of the project prepared for the determination and protection of Çorum’s industrial heritage will make significant contributions to Çorum's industrial heritage inventory. Within this framework, the project will also provide comprehensive information and will introduce Corum's heritage to every segment from the local to international level.
At the same time, the project, which includes the tourism potential of our city, the cradle of civilizations, will carry out important works aimed at increasing the recognition of Çorum not only in industry but also in cultural terms. Bringing together the people and institutions that took part in the industrial and industrial life of Çorum, the project will shed light on the history of a period and will be carried out with a focus on documentation and documentation.
