Support from Tubitak for the Projects of Our Students to Accelerate the Industry Area

The students of Hitit University prepared 9 projects that will bring important technological innovations to the industry field. The projects of our students, which have the potential to be implemented in industrial areas, will be supported by Tubitak (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey).

Our university, though it has been among the newly established universities in Turkey and calls attention to making cooperations with industrial organizations, has also achieved a significant success within the framework of "TUBITAK 2209-B Undergraduate Thesis Support Program for Industry". According to the application results of the program in question, 9 projects prepared by our students studying in engineering fields in our university will be supported.

The projects titled "Increasing Mechanical Strengths by Adding Nano Structures to Prototypes Produced in Resin 3D Printers during Production", by Tunahan Karaca, one of the students of Hitit University Mechanical Engineering Department; "Evaluation of Industrial Ceramic Waste as Automotive Friction Material" by Fatma Sena Öztürk and Abdullah Karaköse; "Development of Fluoride-Free CaO-SiO2-Al2O3 Casting Powders for Low Carbon Steels Production Processes" by Büşra Kaya; "Composite Plate Manufacturing" by Uğur Can Çelik; "Electric Motor Cover Design and Production with Additive Manufacturing Technique" by Müberra Koca; "Investigation of Erosive Wear Caused by Particulate Industrial Materials in Mechanical Systems" by Aysu Kiraz; "Design of Nasır's Lm7805 Voltage Regulator Main Frame (Leadframe) Mold" by Hakkı Emre; "Development of Different Types of Chip Coolers" by Emrecan Kabataş; and "Conversion of Waste Breads into Edible Cheese Packaging" by Mohamedabdulkader, Berfu Sinem Bağcıvan, İrem Nur Kaya and Necmiye Gençalioğlu will be implemented with the support of Tubitak.
