Hitit University Students Reach Finals at TRT’s “Future Communicators” Competition with “Overcoming Prejudices” News Project

Students from the Media and Communication Program of Hitit University’s Vocational School of Social Sciences achieved a significant milestone by reaching the finals in the news broadcasting / video news category of TRT’s “Future Communicators” Competition with their project “Overcoming Prejudices.”

The 11th edition of the competition, organized by TRT this year, included vocational schools for the first time, expanding the scope beyond communication faculties.

Hitit University students Sudenur Dumlu, Arzu Neriman Çelik, and Rabia Güler, under the guidance of Lecturer Ali Aşır, prepared the project, which ranked among the top 10 projects in the category.

The finalist students will participate in various workshops, talks, and cultural events during “Future Communicators Week”, organized by TRT from October 9–14, 2025. The award ceremony will take place on October 14, 2025, in Ankara.
