Career Meetings Continue

As part of the Career Planning course, first-year students of the Department of Social Work came together with our 2025 graduates, Social Workers Tuğçe Koçak and Özge Gökgöz, within the scope of the Career Meetings event.

During the event, Koçak and Gökgöz shared comprehensive insights on key aspects of social work education, including points to consider during the academic process, ways to enhance professional competencies, the importance of field practice, and effective strategies for career planning. They also provided examples from their professional experiences, discussing responsibilities, fields of practice, and real-life cases, thereby increasing students’ awareness of the profession.

The event, which also included a Q&A session addressing students’ questions about career planning, was conducted in an interactive and productive atmosphere. We would like to thank Ms. Tuğçe Koçak and Ms. Özge Gökgöz for their valuable contributions.
