2025–2026 Academic Year Spring Semester Registration Renewal and Course Enrollment Procedures
Course registration in all units of our University will begin on Monday, 09 February 2026 at 10:00 and continue until Friday, 13 February 2026 at 23:59. Course registration and renewal procedures must be completed by all students, including newly enrolled students. Students who do not renew their registration within the specified period will not be able to take any courses for that semester, will not be allowed to take exams, and will not benefit from student rights.
2025–2026 Academic Year Spring Semester Academic Calendar
- 09–13 February 2026: Course registration for students who have paid tuition/contribution fees
- 09–19 February 2026: Advisor approvals
- 17–18 February 2026: Course add-drop and late registration with excuse
- 23 February 2026: Start of classes
Tuition fee or contribution fee payments will be made between 02–19 February 2026. If you have any outstanding debt, your selected courses will not be sent for advisor approval and your course registration/renewal process will not be completed until the debt is cleared. Students who do not complete registration renewal or course registration will not benefit from student rights for the relevant semester and will not appear in any lists, including attendance and grade lists.
Students will complete their course registration and renewal procedures online via ubys.hitit.edu.tr using their usernames and passwords.
Course registration will be completed after approval by the academic advisor. In some cases, the advisor may modify the selected courses and send them back to the student for review. Students must regularly check the system until their registration is approved.
Important Notes for Course Registration
- Students are fully responsible for all registration renewal procedures.
- Students must register for courses within the academic calendar period.
- Students who do not renew registration cannot take courses, exams, or benefit from student rights.
- Courses that overlap even partially in the weekly schedule cannot be selected. This also applies to repeated courses taken due to failure or absence.
- Students with tuition obligations must complete payment before selecting courses.
- Students must register for failed or previously unregistered courses starting from the lowest semester in the first available term.
- From the third semester onward, students may register for courses up to a maximum of 1/3 of the semester credit limit.
- Students must complete registration by logging into UBYS and clicking the “Renew Registration or Complete Registration” button. Students with debts must first complete payment.
- Students who do not complete registration renewal will not appear in any academic lists, including attendance and grade lists.
