As is known, transfer applications between higher education institutions are carried out in two ways: based on Grade Point Average and based on Central Placement Score.
1- Transfer Applications Based on Grade Point Average
Applications to be made based on grade point average for the 2025–2026 academic year will be submitted online between January 19–28, 2026 via:
https://ubys.hitit.edu.tr/AIS/ApplicationForms/Home/Index?apptype=5
Required documents must be uploaded to the system during the online application. Grade conversions will be made according to the conversion tables determined by the Higher Education Executive Board.

Documents to be Uploaded in the Application Module
- YKS Result (Score) Document (must include verification code)
- ÖSYM Placement Document (must include verification code)
- Photograph (to be uploaded to the system)
- Student Certificate (e-Government document with verification code accepted)
- Transcript (e-Government document with verification code accepted)
Documents Required from Candidates Entitled to Final Registration
- Course contents: Must be obtained from the official website of the registered higher education institution and uploaded to the application system
- Document indicating no disciplinary penalty (if stated in other documents, a separate document is not required; e-Government document accepted)
- Transcript (e-Government document accepted)
- Official letter from the higher education institution stating “There is no obstacle to transfer”
- Document proving inclusion in the top 10% (if applicable)

2- Transfer Applications Based on Central Placement Score (Additional Article 1)
Students who wish to transfer based on the central placement score must have a placement score corresponding to the score type of the program they wish to transfer to in the year of placement, and their score must be equal to or higher than the base score of the relevant program.
Applications must be submitted online between January 19–28, 2026 via:

- For applicants to the Civil Air Transportation Management Program:
- Criminal record showing no obstacle to obtaining an airport entry card (e-Government document)
- Medical board report from a fully equipped hospital obtained within the last six months indicating no health issues preventing the practice of the profession (e.g., hearing or vision impairment)
- For applicants to the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program:
- Must meet the health requirements specified in Article 15 of the Municipal Fire Brigade Regulation

Notes
- Incomplete or late applications will not be processed.
- Applicants applying from abroad must upload officially approved Turkish translations of all documents to the system.
- Do not use mobile phones or tablets for application. Clear your browser history before starting the application.
- It is recommended to use browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Opera. Errors may occur when using Chrome.
- Students placed through the Higher Education Institutions Exam must select Group 1 in the application module (UBYS).
