Conference on “The Hidden Effects of Smoking on the Human Body: Muscle, Fatigue and Performance” Held within the Scope of Green Crescent Week
A conference titled “The Hidden Effects of Smoking on the Human Body: Muscle, Fatigue and Performance” was jointly organized by Hitit University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Addiction Prevention Application and Research Center as part of Green Crescent Week. The event took place at the Abdulkadir Ozulu Conference Hall of our faculty.
The program began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem, followed by the opening speech of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık. Subsequently, Dr. Lecturer Fırat Koç delivered the conference on the effects of smoking on muscle function, fatigue, and performance.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Selen Özakar Akça, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Director of the Addiction Prevention Application and Research Center, along with academic staff and students from both faculties.
At the end of the program, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Lecturer Fırat Koç.
