Our Dean Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık Visited Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen, President of the Turkish Historical Society

Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık, visited Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen, President of the Turkish Historical Society, at his office. During the visit, the “2nd International Symposium on the Tradition of Wisdom from Turkestan to Anatolia: Abdal Ata,” organized in cooperation between our university and the Turkish Historical Society, was evaluated.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Işık presented Prof. Dr. Özgen with the “Symposium Proceedings Book” and the “Hitit University Journal of Social Sciences – Abdal Ata Special Issue.” In return, Prof. Dr. Özgen gifted publications from the Turkish Historical Society’s latest works.

The meeting also included consultations on the “3rd International Symposium on the Tradition of Wisdom from Turkestan to Anatolia: Hüseyin Gazi,” which is planned to be hosted by Hitit University next year with the support of the Turkish Historical Society.
