Under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and coordinated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the “International Archaeology Symposium and the Golden Age of Archaeology Exhibition” was held at the Presidential Complex from August 6 to 8, 2025. Faculty members from Hitit University’s Departments of Archaeology and Anthropology, who also serve as excavation directors, participated in the event. The symposium brought together excavation directors, expert academics, and stakeholders working in the field of cultural heritage from across Turkey. The current state of archaeology and its future vision were discussed within the framework of the “Legacy for the Future Project.”
