Panel on “Çorum in the National Struggle” Held
A panel titled “Çorum in the National Struggle” was organized by the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in collaboration with the Turkish History and Culture Research Club, History Society, Turkish Language Club, Literature Club, Anthropology Club, and Archaeology Club.
The panel was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Yıldırım, with Dr. Lecturer Canan Uğurdağ and Dr. Lecturer Tuğba Gülen as speakers. The discussions addressed the military and logistical efforts carried out in Çorum to support the National Struggle, examining their historical background and reflections in the literary activities of the period from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Selen Özakar Akça, as well as academic staff and students. At the end of the panel, certificates of appreciation were presented to the speakers by Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık. The event concluded with a group photo session.
