2) Have a minimum grade point average of 65 on a 100-point scale or its equivalent.

3) Have obtained the minimum score determined by the Senate in the ALES exam for the programme applied for.

4) Although taking a foreign language exam is not a requirement for application, the foreign language scores of candidates who submit a foreign language certificate from international foreign language exams recognised as equivalent to the central foreign language exams accepted by the Higher Education Council will be taken into consideration in the score calculation.

Principles of Assessment in Student Admission

1) The number of candidates to be invited for scientific evaluation and/or interview examination is determined by Senate decision.

2) Candidates are ranked from highest to lowest based on a score calculated as 50% of their ALES score, 25% of their undergraduate degree grade, and 25% of their foreign language exam score, if applicable.

3) In calculating the entrance examination pass mark, 50% of the ALES score, 20% of the undergraduate degree grade, 10% of the foreign language score, and 20% of the scientific evaluation and/or interview examination are taken into account. Candidates who score less than fifty points in the scientific evaluation and/or interview exam are considered unsuccessful. Provided that the total score calculated in this way is at least 50 out of 100, candidates are ranked from the highest score downwards and accepted as students within the quota. However, if deemed necessary, the Senate may decide to admit students without a scientific evaluation and/or interview exam. In this case, the success score is calculated as follows: 50% of the ALES score, 30% of the undergraduate graduation score, and 20% of the foreign language score, if applicable.
