• Manages the website and social media accounts, ensuring these accounts are kept up to date.

• Prepares content in line with the recommendations, requests and approval of the Department/ABD Chair and publishes it in the relevant places, announcing announcements on the department website.

• Prepares and announces content on the department website and social media accounts regarding activities carried out by department/ABD teaching staff and students.

• Attends internal and external meetings related to the commission's area of work.

Curriculum Development Commission

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Reviews the credit, type, purpose, content, teaching methods, course resources, learning outcomes, learning outcomes, assessment and evaluation, weekly course content, the course's contribution to programme competencies, the programme learning outcomes and programme competency matching matrix, ECTS/workload table, and the suitability of courses for the curriculum in both Turkish and English.

• Monitors the currency of the Education Catalogue in the ÜBYS system.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Carries out procedures related to diploma programmes within the university in accordance with the provisions of the Double Major Programmes Guidelines.

• Ensures that the Double Major Curriculum remains up to date.

• Attends meetings held within and outside the institution related to the Commission's field of work.

• Informs both department students and other students within the faculty of necessary information and promotes the programme.

Transfer Procedures and Equivalence Commission

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluates undergraduate and postgraduate students applying for Horizontal Transfer (HT) to the department in accordance with the relevant guidelines.

• Determines the courses for which they are exempt and the courses they are required to take, thereby completing their equivalency.

• Prepares an education plan for students who have been granted admission through HT and submits their opinion to the Department Council/ABD.

• Prepares an education plan for students who have earned the right to enter through HT and submits an opinion to the Department Board/ABD.

Accreditation Commission

Job Description and Responsibilities:

- Ensures coordination of activities by liaising between departmental commissions. Reviews commission reports and ensures that these reports are discussed, refined and implemented by the Department Academic Board, and updated where necessary.

- Submits work reports related to the department's Quality Assurance System to the Faculty, University, and Professional Public, and presents the work.

- Keeps the department prepared for International and National Accreditation applications. Ensures the validity of the department's Self-Assessment Report.

- Provides information about the work based on written documents at the meeting held jointly with the Department Council every six (6) months.

Measurement and Evaluation Commission

Job Description and Responsibilities:

- Develops and implements methods such as reviews and surveys within the scope of measurement, evaluation, and self-assessment related to department activities.

- Examines relevant topics on the Academic Department Committee agenda in terms of their suitability for measurement and evaluation techniques and expresses opinions.

- Reviews topics on the Academic Department Board agenda in terms of their suitability for measurement and evaluation techniques and expresses opinions.

- Designs when surveys will be conducted and how they will be evaluated and submits them to the academic board.

- Ensures the implementation of teaching staff evaluation and term entry/exit surveys prepared by the Rectorate (HUZEM).

- Determines and implements the necessary methods to measure and evaluate departmental objectives and outcomes.

- Evaluates the measurement results and communicates them to the Accreditation Commission.

- Maintains communication with the Accreditation Commission.
