Hitit University Media and Communication Students Took Practical Roles in the May 19 Ceremonies
Hitit University Media and Communication Program students carried out practical media work during the official ceremony of May 19, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
At the event held in Kadeş Peace Square, the students took active roles in filming, conducting interviews, and following the activities. By documenting the enthusiasm of the national holiday, they gained valuable hands-on training experience.
As part of the program, the students also conducted a special interview with Hitit University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Öztürk, who shared his reflections on their work. On his social media account, Rector Öztürk stated: “With the aspirations and dreams of our youth, we will continue to achieve new successes. Today, we shared the excitement of May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. Our Media and Communication Program students also captured the spirit of the holiday through practical training. We gave our interview.”
This activity served as an important example of combining theoretical knowledge with field experience. Students enhanced their skills in camera operation, news coverage, interviews, and content production, contributing to their professional development.
