The Media and Communication Program (MEDEK) Information Meeting was held
Students of the Media and Communication Program were informed about the activities and accreditation processes of the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) by faculty members of the department. The training, held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 12:30 PM in Amphitheater-2 of the Vocational Schools Campus, was attended by the Head of the Marketing and Advertising Department, Lecturer Ali AŞIR, and program faculty members Lecturers Gökhan ŞENYURT and Şule EREN.
The meeting covered the standards, quality criteria, performance metrics, program outcomes, and MEDEK outcomes established for the Media and Communication Program, which applied to MEDEK. The duties and responsibilities of students and academics in the accreditation process were also discussed.
Students were informed about the field visits to be conducted by MEDEK in November. They were also given information about the course curriculum and the end-of-term course evaluation surveys. After the necessary information was provided, students' questions on the subject were answered, and the meeting concluded.
