The Powerful Woman Behind the Wheel will be featured on Hitit FM's special March 8th broadcast
Hitit University Educational and Practice Radio, Hitit FM (100.5 MHz), hosted a meaningful broadcast on March 8, International Women’s Day. Selma Deveci, one of Çorum’s female drivers and the guest of the special interview that earned the TRT Special Award, met with listeners this time on Hitit FM.
In the program, prepared and presented by students of Hitit University’s Media and Communication Program, Selma Deveci shared her professional experiences and the challenges she faced as a woman in working life. The conversation, held in a sincere atmosphere, included reflections on gender roles, women’s place in professional life, professional struggles, and the path to success.
Throughout the broadcast, Media and Communication students asked Selma Deveci about her experiences as a female driver, the prejudices she encountered in her profession, the responsibilities of being a woman in the workforce, and her advice for young women. The program, followed with great interest by listeners, emphasized the importance of women’s achievements in different professional fields.
The program, which also provided students with practical broadcasting experience, was coordinated by Lecturer Ali AŞIR, Faculty Member of the Media and Communication Program and Editor-in-Chief of Hitit University Radio Hitit FM (100.5 MHz). After the enjoyable and productive conversation, a commemorative photo was taken with the guest and students.
Organized for International Women’s Day, the program highlighted women’s success in working life while also serving as an important practical experience for Hitit University Media and Communication Program students.
