Hitit University Sungurlu Vocational School, Department of Medical Services and Techniques organized an information session for first-year students as part of the 2025–2026 academic year orientation program.
During the program, detailed information was shared on the general structure of the university, the department’s academic staff, educational processes, examination and attendance regulations, internship practices, as well as double major, minor, and student exchange programs.
Department Head Dr. Ahmet Bolat emphasized that the goal is not only for students to gain professional competence, but also to develop as socially, culturally, and academically well-equipped individuals. He encouraged students to be curious, ask questions, and make the best use of the opportunities offered by university life.
In addition, Lecturers Dr. İlknur Tüfekçi and Ayşe Aksoy addressed the students, providing information about the new academic year. They reminded students that they would support them through advising, and shared important notes regarding courses, internship procedures, and career opportunities.
The presentation highlighted that the Medical Promotion and Marketing Program responds to the workforce needs of the pharmaceutical and medical sectors. Graduates have opportunities to work in pharmacies, medical companies, pharmaceutical warehouses, and hospitals.
At the end of the program, students asked questions about issues they might encounter while adapting to university life. The orientation program served as an effective and informative meeting for students who are excited to begin the new academic year.
