“From Atoms to Technology: The Power of Nanomaterials” Conference Held

The conference titled “From Atoms to Technology: The Power of Nanomaterials”, organized by our department, was held on June 2, 2026, at the Sungurlu Vocational School Conference Hall.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gülcan from Van Yüzüncü Yıl University participated in the event as the guest speaker and shared comprehensive information on the fundamental properties of nanomaterials, their production processes, and their applications in the fields of health, pharmaceuticals, energy, and technology. During his presentation, Prof. Dr. Gülcan highlighted the role of nanotechnology in scientific advancements and explained, through various examples, the significance of nanomaterials in shaping future technologies.

The conference attracted considerable interest from students and academic staff. Current developments in nanotechnology and their implications for everyday life and industrial applications were discussed. During the question-and-answer session, participants had the opportunity to gain further insights by asking questions about the potential of nanomaterials in health technologies and drug development processes.

At the end of the event, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gülcan on behalf of Sungurlu Vocational School in recognition of his valuable contributions.
