Our Department Faculty Member Asst. Prof. İlknur Tüfekçi Attended the 33rd Expomed Eurasia Fair

Asst. Prof. İlknur Tüfekçi, a faculty member of our department, attended the 33rd Expomed Eurasia Fair, held at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center on April 16–18, 2026, representing Hitit University.

At the fair, one of the major meeting points of the medical industry, Hitit University Technology Transfer Office Inc. was among the 12 university technology transfer offices selected nationwide for the “Innovation Area” organized under the coordination of the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB). The University’s patents and R&D outputs in the field of health were introduced to national and international industry representatives, investors, and entrepreneurs.

As part of the TÜSEB Entrepreneur Presentations, the project titled “HemaScope: A Microscopy- and Artificial Intelligence-Based Portable Imaging and Hematological Analysis Device for the Diagnosis of Blood Diseases,” developed by Assoc. Prof. Ünsal Savcı, was also presented to investors.

Hitit University was represented at the fair by TTO Inc. Deputy Director Burcu Kabakdere, our department faculty member Asst. Prof. İlknur Tüfekçi, and Lecturer Dr. Selma Nacak.

The event, where current technologies, innovative products, and sectoral developments in the healthcare and medical industries were closely followed, provided significant opportunities for strengthening university-industry collaboration, developing new projects, and bringing innovative research in the field of health together with industry stakeholders.
