Rational Drug Use Addressed

One of our department’s academic staff members, Lecturer Ayşe Aksoy, met with women at the Sungurlu Family Support Center as part of the “Science Café” events organized by the Science Communication Office.

The event, held on April 27, focused on “Rational Drug Use.” Participants were informed about correct and safe medication practices, and attention was drawn to the negative impacts of improper drug use on both individual and public health. The importance of using medications at the correct dose, at appropriate intervals, and in accordance with the recommendations of a physician or pharmacist was emphasized.

The event concluded following a question-and-answer session with active participation from attendees.
