HISTORY

  • The Mechatronics Program started its educational activities in 2012 under the name Mechatronics.

PURPOSE

Mechatronics covers a wide range of fields—from home technologies to advanced medical devices, from computer-controlled machines to robotics. Parallel to the rapid developments in this field, the demand for qualified personnel and the employment gap are continuously increasing. The Mechatronics program was established to meet this growing need.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • The associate degree program lasts 2 years and consists of 4 semesters. Courses are conducted on a semester basis, with at least 14 weeks of instruction per semester, totaling 56 weeks of education and training.

  • Each student is required to complete a 30-working-day mandatory internship.

INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES

  • There are opportunities for horizontal transfer between vocational schools.

  • Graduates who are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) can continue their studies in related undergraduate programs such as:
Computer and Control Teaching, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Teaching, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics Teaching, Electronics and Computer Teaching, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Teaching, Industrial Technology Teaching, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Design and Construction Teaching, and Aerospace Engineering.
