HISTORY
The Building Inspection Program was established in 2009 within the Vocational School affiliated with Hitit University.
OBJECTIVE
The aim of this program is to train qualified technical personnel who can meet the demand for skilled intermediate manpower in the developing technology sector, prevent unplanned, uncontrolled, and low-quality construction, ensure life and property safety, prevent the waste of national resources, and produce projects and structures that comply with modern norms and standards.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
The duration of education is 2 years. A total of 56 weeks of education is provided over 4 semesters, each lasting 14 weeks. In addition, each student must complete a compulsory internship of 30 working days.
TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES
Graduates who successfully complete the Building Inspection Associate Degree Program may transfer to the Civil Engineering department by taking the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) administered by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center).
