Hitit University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Deputy Director Burcu Kabakdere visited the Alapala Machinery R&D Center and met with Technical Documentation Engineer Gözde Çetin. During the visit, the importance of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights (IPR) in strengthening the R&D center, updating personnel knowledge, and increasing export indicators were discussed. Key topics highlighted included the processes for benefiting from support and incentives, IPR management, and the appointment of a professional responsible person for these processes.
The TTO's guiding role in enabling R&D centers to more effectively benefit from support and incentive programs provided by TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, and other public institutions was emphasized. In this context, it was decided to apply to the Central Black Sea Development Agency (OKA) support program to train expert personnel in the field of IPR and to begin preparations for project writing.
During the meeting, the strategic value of protecting inventions, patents, and other intellectual property rights arising from R&D projects was emphasized. It was planned that the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) would provide comprehensive training to ensure the smooth running of these processes. At the end of the visit, it was stated that Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights would play a key role in improving Alapala Makine's export indicators.
