Intellectual Property Rights Training for R&D Personnel


An "Intellectual Property Rights Training for R&D Personnel" was conducted for the R&D personnel of Safi Çorum Sugar Factory by Burcu Kabakdere, Assistant Director of Hitit University Technology Transfer Office (TTO).

The training comprehensively addressed the topic of Intellectual Property Rights, covering the importance of intellectual property in R&D outputs, the concept of employee inventions, national and international patent processes, and patent search methods in detail.

At the end of the program, a meeting was held with Atakan Safi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Safi Çorum Sugar Factory, and Ali Yetkin, Factory Manager, to discuss university-industry collaboration efforts. During the meeting, plans were made for new projects and areas of cooperation that could be carried out with Hitit University's dynamic and strong academic staff.

Hitit University Technology Transfer Office officials emphasized that such training plays a critical role in increasing the innovative capacity of industrial organizations and stated that collaborations will continue to increase in the coming period.
